Otrajās Lieldienās Lielbritānijā, Lidenhilas trasē, tika aizvadīta Eiropas rallijkrosa čempionāta pirmā posma otrā diena. Atgādināsim, ka pēc pirmās dienas pirmajiem diviem braucieniem vienīgais latviešu pārstāvis Reinis Nitišs ar 19 punktiem S1600 klasē ierindojās devītajā vietā.
TouringCar klasē pirmais bija Pauvels, bet Supercar klasē ātrākais un veiksmīgākais bija Timijs Hansens, kamēr Peters Solbergs atradās desmitajā vietā.

Trešajā kvalifikācijā Nitišs vispirms uzvarēja savā braucienā, taču nedaudz vēlāk noskaidrojās, ka tas ir ātrākais laiks starp visiem braucieniem. Arī ceturtajā braucienā mūsu sportists bija ātrākais, tādējādi pārliecinoši iekļūstot pusfinālā. Diemžēl nepaveicās Nitiša komandas biedram Kevinam Eriksonam, kurš piedzīvoja avāriju.

Kā pa viļņiem Supercar klasē gāja Peteram Solbergam. Trešajā braucienā Solbergs palika tikai 20. vietā, tādējādi pirms izšķirošā brauciena no pusfināla atpaliekot dažus punktus. Taču ceturtajā izšķirošajā braucienā P.Solbergs finišēja piektajā vietā, kas viņam kā desmitajam ļāva kvalificēties pusfinālam. Pārliecinoši ātrākais bija Hansens, kuram četros braucienos trīs uzvaras.

Pusfinālā Nitišs savā braucienā palika trešais, lai arī tika ziņots, ka mūsu sportists savu braucienu varēja uzvarēt, taču Ildars Rahmatuļins esot sagriezis mūsu sportistu. Taču arī šī trešā vieta ļāva mūsu braucējam kvalificēties finālam. Diemžēl Supercar klasē aiz borta un iespējas startēt finālā palika abi brāļi Solbergi, kuriem tādējādi sacensības bija beigušās. Kā vēlāk noskaidrojās, tad pusfinālā P.Solberga automašīnai bija problēmas ar stūres pastiprinātāju.

Saldajā ēdienā sekoja fināli. Kā pirmie finālā uz starta stājās TouringCar klases braucēji, kur nepārspēts palika īru sportists Dereks Tohils. S1600 klasē uzvaru guva dānis Ulriks Linnemans, aiz sevis atstājot Krievijas sportistu Vadimu Makarovu un zviedru Eriku Farenu. Nitišam sestā vieta, kas priekš pirmā posma uzskatāms par ļoti labu rezultātu. Šis ir atkārtots Latvijas sportistu augstākais rezultāts Eiropas rallijkrosa čempionāta posmā - 2002. gadā divreiz šo rezultātu sasniedza Agris Upītis.
